Claims
- Following a storm it is the responsibility of the insured to check all crops and determine which fields are to be claimed. A written Notice of Loss must be filled out, signed, mailed or faxed into Head Office within 72 hours of the storm. No claims will be accepted by phone. Please make sure all pertinent information is stated such as name, policy number, telephone and cell number where insured may be reached, date and time of storm, crops damaged and approximate severity of damage (light, medium, heavy) and an appointed Power of Attorney if necessary.
- Claims are processed as soon as received at Head Office. Claims are then assigned to the adjusters who will contact the
insureds within 10-14 days to set up an appointment to adjust the claim. The adjusters work along side the insured to determine
the percentage of damage and assist in completion of Proof of Loss.
- Completed claims are submitted to Head Office and payment is made promptly.
Our adjusters are located throughout the three prairie provinces. They are friendly, honest and are highly experienced.
Their expertise and skills have been obtained through years of experience, yearly infield training seminars, conferences and
current up-to-date information. Our adjusters will work with you in order to give you a fair adjustment on your claim.
